Description:
NSN, 42 caliber, 3 inch barrels, good bores. This 8 inch long pistol is marked "Iaspar Devillers" on both locks. Trigger guard, locks and butcap show light engraving. Wood is carved with high relief designs. Right side lock functions well and is complete. Left lock has cock broken at neck and is missing the frizzen. Wood has a few slivers missing around left lock and a small crack behind right lock. A piece of wood was period replaced at muzzle on right side. Metal is mostly a grey/brown patina. The ramrod is missing. A great candidate for restoration. Antique.
