Description:
This is a very fine J.M. Cooper Navy Revolver. .36 caliber. 5 shot Double action. Works in both DA and SA. Has a 4" Octagon Barrel with an excellent bore. Octagon Barrel. Serial number #5353 and matching on all parts. Wedge is un-numbered. Nipples are nice. Manf. 1864 thru 1869. Has the rebated cylinder which retains approx. 90% of original bluing. The frame and barrel show approx. 20% original bluing, remaining. The back strap and trigger guard are a nice un-touched brass patina. Action is strong and it indexes perfectly. The one piece Walnut Grips are excellent and show very little wear. Top barrel flat is marked: "COOPER FIRE ARMS MFG. CO FRANKFORD PHILA. PA./PAT. JAN.7, 1851 APR. 25, 1854 SEP.4,1860/SEPT. 1,1863 SEPT. 22,1863". Buyer pays $25.00 shipping to lower 48 states. I will ship International for $50.00, plus $20.00 Bank Wire Fee.
