A&S Famars Jorema 800 Sidelock Bulino Engraved, 20 bore, 2 3/4" chambers, 27 1/2" (70cm) barrels choked .013 Mod. and .025 Full, 15" LOP over a checkered, 1 1/2" DAC, 2 1/4" DAH, 1/4" cast off for right hand shooters, 6 lbs. 8 oz., ejectors, single trigger, straight grip, drop points, low height vent rib, a beautifully engraved sidelock featuring Bulino field scenes of a quail covey flush on the right side, pheasants taking to flight on the left side, and hunters with pointers with quail covey flush on bottom all engraved by Fausto Galeazzi, all surrounded by very fine scroll work engraved by Bruno Goldani, highly figured European walnut with fine checkering, non-automatic safety with "S" in gold inlay, action inlay in gold on inside "Simeoni - Paris" (this gun was purchased in Paris and this should be the retailer) and the serial number and "A&S" also in gold inlay on inside, "Abbiatico & Salvinelli" in gold on bottom of action, beautiful and unique crest escutcheon as slide release for forend. Comes in original leather trunk case with maker's leather label and maker's accessories of snap caps, oil bottle, and canister holding spare firing pins and main springs, also has the maker's card detailing the model, all the builders and engravers and date made of December 1982. Excellent condition with only minor blue wear at muzzle.
