Colt Single Action Army New York Engraved Colt Single Action Army #68455; shipped to Hartley and Graham, N.Y. on April 1, 1881; gun was in the first ever shipment of guns in the ‘soft’ from Colt Factory (see Hoy & Wilkerson Official Record Colt SAA Revolvers 1873-1895 p. 98); gun is 45 cal with 7 ½” bbl. the engraving pattern is the same as a consecutive numbered pair from same shipment in a Texas collection; it is unusual that the hammer is smooth with no knurling on all three known examples; gun retains most of its nickel finish; all numbers and engraving sharp; nice Ivory Grips, which are present on other two guns; EXCELLENT bore and action; all numbers match; antique, no FFL/C&R required for shipping;All items shipped fully insured- Hand guns $30 shipped Priority-Long guns $35 shipped Ground; (Texas residents please add 6.75% sales tax); return policy: three days inspection from the date the item is received; full refund of shipping both ways ONLY IF THE ITEM IS MISREPRESENTED.
