Description:
Excellent Butterfield percussion army revolver. Five shot and .41 caliber. There were only 640 of these made and they are very rare, especially in this great condition. The barrel retains a good 50% blue and the brass frame has a wonderful tan patina. The bore is excellent and has sharp rifling. Grips are 100% and retain all of the original varnish. Mechanically tight. Cylinder retains 98% original blue. May be the best Butterfield around. This gun has sold!!
