Payment Types Accepted: no credit cards Description: A very early fluted 1860 Colt Army, SN3XX all match including wedge and arbor pin. This early a serial number very probably went south(Confederate).Letter is in progress. The gun matches serial numbers.. It is fully functional and has a decent bore.(rifling but a bit of pitting near muzzle). The gun is a four screw. It has no martial markings indicating it was a civilian gun(again lending credence to possible southern shipment). The gun is a basic brown gun but has about 90% silver on the trigger guard. Mechanically good and indexes well. Grips have two chips; a small one on the right to and a larger one on the left side by the heel. They do not detract from the appearance of the gun. Scarce fluted early army with possible southern use.REDUCED!!! SOLD Antique: Yes |
