Restoration carefully documented on my . The original action and bottom metal have been replaced as they were missing when I aquirred the rifle. The action was replaced with a fine 1906 Oberndorf action and the new bottom metal was aquirred from Duane Wiebe. The bore is excellent on this rifle. The rifle had its new action engraved by Charles Lee replicating the original Jeffery pattern, All the metal was then slow rust blued and th wood given a hand rubbed oil finish. The rifle weighs 8&1/4 lbs and is a joy to both carry and shoot.
