Original and clean Winchester Mod 52 B series 22lr. This rifle is correct and has never been re-blued, sanded or re-checkered. It may have had some finish added to the stock along the way ...the reason I say this is a really fanatical collector -- who is looking a perfectly MINT gun -- examined it and found a small drip of finish in the checkering, and a small, tiny spot where a sliver of wood is missing but he noted there is finish over it. So maybe some finish has been put on the stock. It has NOT been drilled or tapped for a scope. It comes with an original 5 rnd magazine. There is some wear and bluing loss on the bolt handle. It features a Lyman 48 rear sight, that was mounted with cutting out the stock! The serial number dates to 1950 or 1951, depending on your sources. I cant tell you who has handled it or where its been in the last 65 years. It is a correct rifle and it comes with the correct sling swivels, as were used on the super grade rifles. All the bluing is original too, the bore is perfect and the muzzle is too. This is a nice rifle and its in exceptional condition for a 65 year old rifle. I dont think you will find a nicer one for the money. Credit cards add 3%, we offer a 3 day non-firing inspection period.
