Rare Winchester 95 Saddle Ring Carbine in 303 British (“303Br”) which is marked on top of the chamber underneath the Winchester proof! It comes with a correct Lyman peep sight built for the Model 95, mounted on the left side of the action. It was very likely made for the Canadian market. Bore is very very good, but not shiny new. There is an unexplained extra dovetail cut on the barrel underneath the upper hand guard, as if another type of rear sight was considered at some point. Winchester ceased production of Model 95s in 1932; this carbine dates to 1915 and it is marked with a “B” on the lower tang beneath the serial number. The wood is sound and without any issues. It has not been reworked or reblued in any way. It’s just a nice SRC. Credit cards add 3%, we offer a 3 day non-firing inspection period.
