This is an 1876 Winchester Comes with letter which states: " Type: Rifle/ Barrel Type: Octagon/,Trigger: Set/, To 45/60 caliber, Round barrel, Plain trigger/, Received in warehouse on September 14, 1879/, Shipped from warehouse on July 03, 1880, Order number 20616/, No other information is available for this serial number. " ,which is Serial #3319. This was also shipped with a round barrel on July 03, 1880, order number 20616. The metal is all brown patina with some scattered pitting. Wood is solid with some handling marks. The bore is very good, showing some, fine pitting. Rear ladder sight is marked "1876". Top of barrel is marked: "WINCHESTER'S-REPEATING-ARMS-NEW HAVEN,CT./KING'S-IMPROVEMENT-PATENTED-MARCH,29.1866.OCTOBER 16.1860". Behind the rear sight it is marked:"CAL.45-60". Top tang is marked: "MODEL .1876.". Bottom tang has serial number:"3319". Action is strong and works like it should. Comes with "Cody Firearms Museum Letter. FREE SHIPPING! to lower 48 states.
