Description:
This 12 Gauge Francotte Knock-About Gun is the most beautiful example I have seen. It has great dimensions and shoots well. It handles quickly. Bright Full Case Colors. The case colors and blue are perfect. The checkering, engraving and stampings are sharp. I do not know if anything is redone. If so it is excellent work by a master gunsmith. This is a gorgeous shotgun.
Reminds me of an English shotgun, Lighter for the the gauge than an LC Smith, Parker Brothers, Lefever, Ithaca, Skeeter, Fox or Winchester. A Purdy would also be heavier.
Great for pheasant or any other upland game.
