This gun is stamped with the City Gun Store Duluth \n\nRudolph C. Kruschke, a man of sterling integrity and distinctive \nability, gained a goodly share of pioneer honors in connection with the \nbusiness activities of the city of Duluth and was one of its well known \nand highly honored citizens at the time of his death in 1918. His ini- \ntiative ability was on a parity with his resolute purpose, and he established \nand developed at Duluth a unique business which has been successfully \ncontinued since his death under the corporate title of the City Gun \nStore, Inc. The enterprise dates its inception back to the year 1881, \nand in its present status of importance the store well merits its title of \n\"•Duluth's oldest athletic and sporting-goods establishment.\" \n
