Description:
4" barrel dated 1924 with full serial number on the bottom.Five star Indonesian Army ( Tentra ) star above chamber.This star indicates the pistol was used after WWII during Indonesia's war of indenpendence. RUST marked safety. Crown/W on left side of receiver. Pistol is a composite of a Dutch contract receiver/barrel with a DWM toggle. All numbered parts are matching except ,toggle assembly,grips and grip safety.Toggle assembly and grip safety are numbered 51.The DWM toggle has a Crown over U and a Crown over B. Proper Dutch magazine with metal reinforcing clip on the bottom. Good comdition with 80% Dutch arsenal blue with scattered light pitting. Straw is about 25%. Bore is good but dull. Magazine is fair with chips on wood bottom. The brass side plate is gone. This could mean it was lost or an Officers pistol.Standard front and rear sights. The barrel shows a Crown over a V? and a Crown over ?. There is also an N over a P over a Crown. The grips are oil soaked and chipped showing numbers inside. the right panel has GSN 3859 & H & L. The left panel has 1268 and a star. Even though this is a composite pistol; the frame and receiver match. The Toggle is what has been replaced. Most of the Pistols manufactured by Vickers did not survive because of the jungle conditions. LOWER PRICE FOR END OF YEAR!!
