Guns by Sally-always the best for less. We are very proud to offer this superbly detailed example of a WC Scott side by side shotgun. Made in the year of our Lord 1894, she will ship direct to the new owner. This gun was among the maker's best offerings of the era, boasting highly figured wood and very detailed and elaborate engraving. She is fitted with a set of highly respected Bohler steel barrels,monoblock fashion. They are 28 inches and choked old school, full and full. The bores are mirror bright, and the muzzles touch. The patented crossbolt action locks up tight, and the lever resides to the right of center. Extractors hoist the empties, and the safety is non-automatic. Drops are 1 3/4 and 2 1/2 inches, with an LOP of 13 3/4 inches to the horn butt plate. She is very comfortable to carry and point, and weighs in at only 6 1/2 pounds. The stunning detail of the engraving was difficult to capture on film, but everyone who has viewed it is very impressed. She has more engraving on the trigger guard than most modern high grades have in total. If you have been looking for the right English shotgun to collect or shoot, with engraving details that will amaze, then look no further. Reasonable offers and trades accepted.
