This Stevens tip-up rifle might have been a special order. Because it has a forend, blue ,or casehardened frame & furniture, and once appeared to have had a tang sight.The bore is worn though much of rifling is visible and is shootable. The caliber is .32 rim fire.It has a blade front sight and rear sight has been changed.Works fine and has a slight loosness in barrel lockup.The photos show condition of metal; blue here and there with brown patina.The barrel measures 26 inches overall and the front 16 inches is round and I say a medium weight.Has early J.Stevens & Co. markings.I sell all my pieces as collectors' items and one should have checked out by a gunsmith if intending to shoot.
