This is the newer resumed production of the famous 1861 Colt. This comes with a Colt letter that verifies the engraving was done by Master Engraver A.A. White. There is a lot of information on this letter including shipping date of August 19, 1986. The gun is new in presentation box. Absolutely beautiful with its case color frame and brilliant Colt blue bbl. Stocks is stated as 2-piece checkered ivory. On the back strap of this Colt is "Presented to William H. D. Goddard by Colt Firearms February 9,1986". There is also a small inscription plaque on the presentation box. This comes with all the Colt accouterments. A stunning gun!!
