Description:
Cal 45-70. This is half round half oct rifle with a 24" bbl. The Bullard was a high quality rifle and this one is a good example. Quite a bit of finish remains with receiver at about 60%+ of a thinning blue. Bbl has about 80% blue with a couple of thinning areas. The mag tube also is VG. This gun is equipped with a Lyman tang sight, a flip down rear sight and standard post front sight. Bullards were noted for their smooth lever actions and this one has a VG+ bore. Nice rifling. No pitting. Forearm is very attractive with nearly full coverage checkering. A few dings and handling marks but VG overall cond. Buttstock is VG cond but does have a chip at the toe. A great gun in a great caliber!
