Description:
This is a Savage standard rifle chambered for the 300 Savage. The serial number is 579307. It is a 1950's production gun. Has the 24 inch barrel. The barrel is sharp and clean with no defects. The action works smooth and locks up tight. The stock has no cracks or splits. it does show some dents and wear from being in the field. Below the grip cap is the initials C.L.G. done very neatly. The stocks have sling eyes installed. The scope bases and rings are Weaver made. The scope is by Bushnell the model is Sportview. The reciever has some blue loss due to poor storage. It is mostly on the top tang showing speckling. This rifle has the original buttplate and grip cap. The five shot rotory works smoothly with no problems. This rifle would rate a 85% condition.
