SOLD 3/4/16 /// WWI German 2nd Model Snail Drum Magazine with Dust Cover, serial #236982, this (32 round) magazine has matching numbers on both the body and cover of the magazine, has a crown "S" proof on the mag. body, the metal surfaces bearing an overall smoky gray patina with traces of original blue along the protected edges and some scattered spots of light oxidation. Both the body and cover are marked "B/N" signifying manufacture by Bing Bros of Nurnberg. The winding lever is complete and an unmarked metal dust cover is included which retains perhaps 30% original black enamel toning to brown. This is an overall very good condition "trommel magazine" with rare magazine dust cover which would make a fine addition to any Artillery Luger rig. Inv.: # G 2902
