This pistol is a WWII veteran bring back and is a 1944 Colt frame with a Remington Rand slide. It has been together since the war and the original finish matches slide and frame (Springfield Armory rework stamp). Good to very good. A nice looking, honest, original military pistol marked "1911A1 U.S. Army". Serial number 162998x.
