Description:
A rare transitional Joselyn carbine having features of both the 1862 and 1864 models. There were 3000 made in this category. They are scarce. The gun retains about 80% original blue and the brass barrel band and buttplate have a nice patina. The caliber is .54 and The gun has a fine cartouche on the left side. The bore is excellent and bright. Mecanically sound and tight. Really nice gun and very hard to find.
Please excuse the pink coloration. I don't know why it happens. SN 29xx.REDUCED!!! Gun has sold.
