Description:
This is a C. Guntermann Mauser action rifle in 8x60. Do not despair. It comes with a set of RCBS dies in 8x60. The action is Very Good. The action and the Butterknife bolt handle show engraved borders, checkering, and stipling as does the floor plate. The 21 inch barrel is Very Good and is marked "C. GUNTERMANN DUSSELDORF" and "KRUPP LAUFSTAHL".Sights are a ramp mounted front bead and a V notch rear sight with a second folding leaf. There is a claw mounted Rudiger 3X scope with a 3 post German style reticle in see-through mounts. The dual set triggers are in a Horn triggger guard. The checkered walnut stock has had a seperate cheek piece attached to the top for the scope and has a horn grip cap and horn butt plate.
