Description:
Serial #247501, .32 ACP, 3 3/4” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a nice pistol that retains about 98% plus of the original matte blue finish with some mild fading and silvering throughout along the exposed edges and projections (most noticeably at the heel of the butt and on the edges of the slide serrations). The trigger and magazine release retain much of the bright, original color case-hardening with the balance turned to a smooth pewter gray and the trapezoidal hard rubber grip panels are in very good condition with some flattening of the points and small scratches on both sides and a single negligible chip at the heel of the left panel. The pistol comes with a single original magazine and is an excellent example of a Model 1917 Savage that would make a handsome addition to any collection. {Ref. “Savage Pistols” by Bailey Brower Jr.; 2008} FFL or C&R
