Description:
This partial (47 rounds) two piece half split square corner box remains in excellent condition with top label showing a few light water stains. Top label shows a Smith&Wesson No 1 1/2 second issue revolver and has the dogs head logo. This box was produced in the 1870's. Side sealing label is almost all present, some parts are folded into lid. It remains fully legible. One corner of lid has a glue repair, box shows scuffing on edges with bright plaid design. Ammo is lightly tarnished and covered in bits of grease. This is the loose fit box, the ammo was not stacked in place, just tossed in loose.
