Description:
This partial (23 rounds) two piece half split round corner box has the fancy dog logo in one corner of top label with picture of a S&W No. 1 1/2 second issue revolver. This box and label were used in the early 1880s. Top label is bright and clean with a tiny area of residue (glue?) along top edge. side sealing label is over 80% present and remains fully legible. The plaid wallpaper style box shows scuffing on edges. A nice display item.
