Description:
This marlin is in excellent condition. Caliber 32-40 WCF. Bore lands are sharp and has slight pitting.
Barrel bluing is at least 90%. Wood is good with only a few dents - no cracks or missing pieces. Original butt plate, also much case coloring still there. Great condition for a rifle of this age that has been used - not put in a box and never fired. It came from Alaska to a friend of mine over 50 years ago. serial number is ###242. "Model 1893" marked on top tang and "Special Smokeless Steel" marked om left side of the octogon barrel.
