Description:
This is a antique Colt SAA holster for a 5 1/2 inch barrel. It is a top of the line HOLSTER in DARK BROWN leather. It has no maker mark, but shows catalog number 1344 over 6. Waxed thread is used and all the edges are rounded and smoothed for a professional look. Likely made by a well know saddle shop 120 years ago.The main pouch has a roller stamp design around the face of the holster. The leather is holding its shape. The stitching is tight. There are surface cracks but none go clear through. An excellent collectible and display piece and for your vintage gun.
