James Carr & Sons Boxlock Ejector, 16 bore, reproved for 2 3/4" chambers in 2001, 28" barrels reproved for 900 BAR nitro and choked .006 IC and .013 Mod., 6 lbs. 2 oz., 15" LOP over leather pad, 1 1/2 DAC, 2" DAH, 1/4" cast off, straight grip, splinter forend, double triggers, ejectors, highly figured circassian walnut with heavy fiddleback and with vacant stock oval, smooth concave sunken rib engraved "James Carr & Sons Gun & Rifle Makers Birmingham", action nicely engraved with acanthus scroll and maker's name in banner, automatic safety. Excellent condition gun with some case colors remaining in protected areas, still nice condition barrel reblack, tight, ejectors in time, bores at .662 and .663, min. wall thickness at .026 and .027.
