SALE PENDING ___ For the discriminating advanced collector of early American high powered rifles - here is an almost impossible to find true American legend – designed and built by the ‘father of high velocity’ Charles Newton himself ( 1868-`932) Newton pioneered many American wildcats that became production classics whose reputations have lived to this day! Among those were the .22 Savage Hi-Power and the Savage .22-250. I have two of his rifles – both in 99-mint original collector condition for the discrimination collector of TRUE American legends of high velocity development. Manufactured a century ago - circa 1915. The pictures tell the story. One is in 30 Newton and the other in .256 Newton – both classic collectables rarely seen any more. I understand that dies and brass are currently available. Barrels on both guns have the same address lines: “ NEWTON ARMS COMPANY – BUFFALO NEW YORK”.
