****SOLD SOLD******For sale is this Colt Diamondback 38 special revolver with nickel plating and has a 2.5" barrel. The nickel plating is in usable condition but the gun has been re-nickeled at one time and they did a poor job of metal-prep before the plating. Please review the photos as I have tried to make sure everything is seen that is a problem. Notably would be the fact that not all of the previous plating was removed and apparently caused a poor electrical anode contact creaing an uneven coverage of new plating. However, if you want to save $2500 yet have a nickeled Diamondback 2.5" then this is for you. These guys are ridiculous expensive nowadays espcially in nickel - I called Colt and they will 100% refinish for around $650 plus enhance the markings so the gun will look like it just left the factory. I am asking $1400 for this as that is exactly what I have in it. I prefer to sell as-is especially since I am being forthright and up-front about the condition.
