- Note: Here's a chance to own a Colt 38 Special for less than half the price of most Colts. This is the same frame as the famous Detective Special. This gun has been refinished and for some reason the blue has been removed from the barrel. This gun came out of the Pinkerton Security Co. The gun is crisp mechanically and the bore is bright with some light frosting at the muzzle. Comes with the over-sized Pachmayr grip. Gun is +P friendly. A great additional home defense gun!
