- Note: This Colt Official Police came out of the Pinkerton Security Co. inventory in Los Angeles, traded to us when they upgraded to S&W Model 64's. Here's is a medium frame, Colt quality, forged and mechined revolver, hard to find in today's shortcut manufacturing methods. This is a gun that's comfortable with any +P cartridge. The butt of the gun is stamped LAC201, possibly having been a LA security gun at some point. The sideplate bearing the rampant Colt emblem appears to have been replaced since the wear to the finish does not match the rest of the gun. The Gun is mechanically crisp with a bright bore and chambers. This is a chance to own a quality 38 special revolver at less than half the price of a contemporary gun of less quality.
