Description:
Winchester Model 70 pre-war carbine in .300 H&H magnum. Made in 1939 this carbine is in excellent original condition. The .300 magnum caliber was a special order only in the carbine making this a particularly rare Model 70. Everything about this carbine is correct and original. Barrel date is1937. The metal finishes are 98%+. The wood finish is original and intact but it is showing numerous light “dings” and a couple of shallow “dents” that more than likely happened in a gun cabinet or safe. Regardless this carbine is a must have for a Winchester Model 70 collector. Note: This carbine is 75 years old…and minty!
