Description:
Parker Bros. 12ga VH grade.Built on a #2 frame,this gun has 30" Vulcan steel barrels choked full (.038") and full (.038").It has a pistol grip stock,double triggers,extractors,and a splinter forend.The stock retains the original dogs head buttplate and the original grip cap.The wood is very sound with no cracks or damage.The action retains traces of the original case colors in the exposed areas and lots of vivid color in the protected areas.The barrels retain around 85% of the original blue.The bores are excellent with no rust or pits.The action has one small surface rust spot on the left side of the action that is 1/8".The screws are all clean and in time.It appears that no one has ever opened up the action.The barrels are tight and on face and they lock up very tight to the action.The top lever is slightly to the right of center as it should be.A classic Parker that would make an excellent hunting gun or a clays gun for vintage shoots.C&R eligible.
