EXCELLENT EARLY COLT MODEL 1849 POCKET REVOLVER WITH 6” BARREL. Early small trigger guard 5 shot, .31 caliber. Desirable long barrel with early two line small size “ADDRESS SAML. COLT/NEW YORK CITY” address in pointed brackets. Early type small size “COLT’S/PATENT” frame stamping. 100% original and all matching serial numbers including the wedge. Superior excellent plus condition with 80-90% case hardening on the frame and loading lever. Barrel retains 80% plus blue and the 30-40% blue and a 100% crisp “STAGE COACH HOLDUP” cylinder scene. Superb grips with all the original varnish. Brass back strap and trigger guard with most of the original silver with only slight wear. Has all the original screws with most of their original blue. Perfect working order and even has all the cylinder safety pins. Excellent bore and chambers. Superb early 5 shot model with the long barrel.
