Description:
Otis Smith April 11, 1873 Patent .32 cal. revolver. Factory New York engraved with gold washed hammer, presentation grips, and cylinder. Grips have rose scroll with an image of a Conquistador on the right side. The engraving is consistent with work from the shop of L.D. Nimschke but I haven’t found any initials to date. Nickle has been replaced by patina on the main frame in places and gold traces remain in the cylinder flutes and engraving. This was clearly done as an exhibition or presentation piece
