Description:
Parker DHE 0 Frame, circa 1906, 16 bore on 0 frame (normally for 20 gauge guns), 2 3/4" chambers, original length 26" barrels choked .007 IC and .027 Full, 5 lbs. 15 oz., 14 1/2" LOP a checkered butt plate, 1 1/2 DAC, 2 1/2" DAH, 1/8" cast off, round knob grip, splinter forend, case hardened, double triggers, ejectors, butt stock highly figured marble cake walnut restock by Dave Vandenbrand, re-casehardened by Brad Bachelder. Excellent condition restored Parker in quite a rare combination of a DHE 16 on 0 frame with 26" barrels. There were only 199 DHE 16 bores made with 26" barrels and since 16 bores on 0 frames are in themselves quite uncommon, there were likely less than 50 like this made. A Parker Letter is included with the gun but states the Order Book that would have this gun's serial number is missing. It goes on to say the only notation comes from Book 75 that states this gun was returned to the Parker Store in NYC in 1918 for repair but noted it was returned with nothing done.
