Marked "455 CAL" over a larger letter E on the left side of trigger guard, 5 1/2 inch barrel, one line address on top of barrel. "COLTS PT. FA. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. USA DEPOT 14 PALL MALL LONDON".Cylinder and bottom of barrel are marked with London proof house markings, matching numbers on cylinder, grip frame, original checkered wood grips, matching assembly numbers on grip frame under grip and loading gate, brown patina and blue, slight amount of shallow spotting. Manufactured in 1883. ANTIQUE.
