Except those listed as Payment Types Accepted: Bank Checks / Money Orders Description: SOLD /// U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1922 M1 Rifle, serial # 9271 B, cal. 22 LR, rifle has a "SA / (ordnance bomb) / 12-32" dated barrel with a bright excellent bore. The metal surfaces retain about 80% gray arsenal parkerizing. The bolt body is bright with minor light staining; it is pencil-numbered 633 on the front/rear portions of the bolt. The pistol grip walnut stock has crisp edges in the finger grooves and some nice straight contrasting grain showing; has minor handling dings and some shallow dents most likely from handling but nothing I’d consider drastic or alarming. There is a small area of white paint on the left side of the buttstock and depending how you look at it, it may be a number 8. The gun has its original front sight with its sight protector and the rear retains its correct Lyman 48 sight; the gun is not drilled and tapped. The receiver marking has been Armory-altered to reflect MI.1 and the capital letter "B" has been added to the end of the serial number. Included is a single magazine and a 1 1/4" military leather sling. Overall as described a nice example in good plus to very good condition. Inv.: # 2-1734 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
