Serial #6266xx is around 80 years old, and looks like it was unboxed only a few days ago. Here are the flaws: thinning blue behind the muzzle, both sides, some "mystery" scratches left side of frame, under cylinder, ever-so-slight turn ring just developing, small scratch (nearly invisible) RH side of barrel. Otherwise, this gun is LIKE NEW. Mechanicals are just as good as the exterior: As close to perfect, slick and smooth, as one could expect. Factory early style gloss/wet-look blueing, case colors and grips are beautifully preserved. This is NOT a refinish. It is ORIGINAL, and it is gorgeous. There's just something special about pre war commercial Smiths that makes gun guys' hearts melt...this is one of those, and in super-scarce minty condition, so get it before its gone!
