Hopkins & Allen made less than 1200 of these small .22 derringers in blue and nickel. I have only owned two in the past 40 years collecting and this one is the only cased one I have seen. The wooden case is made to look like a small book and top lifts off. The interior and exterior are in great shape. The serial is 847 and the engaving is factory. The last one sold by a major company was as nice of condition as this one, but was not cased. It sold for fifty seven hundred. REDUCED, I am asking 4950.00
