Description:
A fine antique Divers helmet from the Pre World War 2 era. This is a 2 Light (meaning 2 windows) helmet. Copper and brass construction with tinning on the inside and whats left of the communication wiring. Oxygen intake elbow and waste outlets are still there. The main front window has its original glass but the overhead or top window just has a piece of plexiglass in it. This helmet was most likely made by Siebe Gorman of London in the 1930's. This helmet is an original Divers Helmet and not a copy or a reproduction. The helmet weight approx. 38-40 pounds. The base is a high quality made piece of furniture expressly made for this helmet. I also have the provenance on this helmet. A super antique Divers helmet for the beach house, yacht or nautical antiques room or just for the connoisseur of fine antiquities. This Divers Helmet would be the center of attention in any room. USPS priority mail shipping for the helmet only is 55.00...If the buyer wanted the base they would have to pay separate shipping/crating or do a local pick up.
