The ends of fullers are not even on both sides. The hooked quillion crossguard is pinned in place from left side. The grips are held by screws with no escutions on screw head (left) side. The escutions on right side are quite crude with screw holes off center. Pommel is marked "349", the only marks noted. The release stud is quite long and the single corner release button is quite poorly fitted in pommel. Blade has never been sharpened, edge is flat, point has a ding. This comes in a ball tipped, unmarked steel scabbard with 40% blue fading brown and a few minor dents. SOLD Manufacturer: Japanese Model: Type 30 |
