Description:
S#4107, 44-40, 25 1/2 inch barrel, antique very good bore with strong rifling and scattered patches of erosion. This stripped frame remains in good condition with the end of upper tang broken off. Frame shows dings and scratches under a brown patina. Screw holes remains round, threads look good. The barrel has strong markings and a brown patina. it is the correct length with dings and scratches. The worst damage is some dings on left side by rear sight slot, and on right side by mag tube retainer slot. This could be the start of a great project. Antique
