Description:
Serial #6706, 7.65mm Argentine, 29” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a DWM marked rifle that has a faint, but still partially legible national crest on the receiver and a predominantly mixed gray-brown patina with some faint traces of original blue remaining on some of the protected areas. The bolt is Argentine marked and has no number with speckled areas of freckling on the handle and along its length. The rifle was reworked for the 7.65mm spitzer cartridge and is fitted with the distinctive Lange Vizier rear sight. The walnut stock has a fairly thick added oil finish over light handling marks and small surface blemishes scattered about. The stock has no visible cartouches and there are some small impact marks towards the nose of the handguard. A metal cleaning rod is included and the rifle rates about very good plus overall.
