Description:
This carbine has the Poultney & Trimble marking. Also there are 2 cartouches that are very readable and the number 21 that is evidently some division or rack number. This is a nice tight solid gun. Bore is bright and shiny with good rifling. A few spots of pitting but overall VG. The whole gun is an antique brown/grey patina. Some dings and scratches but a good collectable Civil War piece.
