Ithaca 37 “CITY OF LOS ANGELES / 200th ANNIVERSARY / 1781 – 1981” Commutative 12ga 2-3/4”. This shotgun is un-fired and comes in a factory case plus its paper work. The left side of the receiver is marked in gold “CITY OF LOS ANGELES / 200th ANNIVERSARY / 1781 – 1981” with a representation of L.A. City Hall and “COMMEMORATIVE” in a banner beneath. To the right of all this is “LOS ANGELES / POLICE ACADEMY” and a representation of the entrance to the LAPD Academy. Surrounding the gold filled engraving is blued scroll work. Marked in gold on the right side of the receiver is “TO PROTECT AND TO SERVE” in a banner with three gold seals: the LAPD Revolver and Athletic Club, the City of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Police Department. Surrounding the gold filled engraving is blued scroll work and the serial number “LAPD – 0105”. The pistol grip cap has a two tone representation of an LAPD badge, with the spot reserved for the badge number still blank. The 18 ½” slug barrel is marked “L.A.P.D.
