Good example of a British BSA SMLE dated 1914 with a SN 674XX. Has early features such as the mag. cut-off.Medal parts have applied wartime dark finish, with typical wartime wear. The hard wood is good and shows typical dings, and abrasions! A very rugged bolt action, with a 25" barrel and a good bore with sharp rifling, and fine pits down in the grooves , so common with military rifles from WWI that used corrosive ammo!Comes with a 1903 Springfield 1903 leather sling, and not importer marked!this is an early model with walnut wood stocks, and the brass disc in the stock is missing.
