Description:
This gun has the Kittredge & Company marking. Likely a Civil War gun. This is the 1st type 2-trigger variety. Mechanically the gun is VG. Tight pivot pin. Hammer and trigger work good. Metal has been cleaned decades ago and has aged back a bit being mostly a grey color. Bore would be in the VG range with good rifling and shiny. Wood is slightly undersized at the tangs and some shrinkage at the toe. Otherwise wood is very nice cond and likely had something rubbed on it years ago. These are a good piece of history and make for great conversation. Not a lot of money for a decent collectable gun.
