Its 28” fluid steel barrels are choked Skeet (.005) and Improved Modified (.025) and have 2-3/4” chambers.  The condition of the bores is excellent, as lightly honed.  The wall thickness (top/side/bottom) for the right barrel at 9” from muzzle is 028/.030/.035 and at the middle of the barrel is .032/.032/.033; the left barrel is .032/.035/.030 and .032/.033/.029, respectively.  Bore diameter s 9” from the breach are .733/.735, respectively.  The gun weighs 7 pounds.  The drop at the comb is 1-5/8” and at the heel 2-5/8”.  Length of pull from the front trigger to the end of the original butt plate is 14”.  The gun locks up tight and on face; the top lever returns to the right of center.  All serial numbers (71816) match.

The price does not include shipping paid by buyer.  The inspection period is 7 days from receipt.  This gun has been fired using standard factory 2-3/4” target loads.  However, as for any vintage shotgun, especially one over 100 years old, it is recommended that the new owner have it inspected by a professional gunsmith before firing.  The gun carries a 30-day warrantee, during which Back in Time will have any mechanical problems documented by a professional gunsmith repaired or accept the return of the gun and refund the price of the gun and the return shipping cost.  Please do not hesitate to call with questions Stephen Wesbrook, 703-625-4830; Back in Time, LLC  --  preserving late 19th and early 20th century double shotguns.
